Scenario

Directions

1. Connect a network cable to port "INTERNET" Router. Then plug the other end of network cable to your broadband modem.
2. Plug your computer into one of ports 1-4 of the router using a network cable.
3. Connect your broadband modem.
4. Turn on your router.
5. Turn on your computer.
6. Open your browser and enter the address http:// 192.168.0.1 and press Enter.
7. A login screen appears. In "User Name" enter "admin" and "Password" leave it blank.
8. If the password does not come behind the router has a button called "reset", press for 20 seconds and then try again.

• The splash screen is displayed, click "Manual Configure"

• If your ISP uses DHCP, leave the setting as it is.

• If your provider uses PPPoE, select PPPoE from the menu and configure your username and password and click "Apply".

Configuring security.

1. Click the "Wireless Settings", and "Wireless Network Name", you choose the name of your network, in the example below we used the name of the site.
   

   Currently there are several types of security algorithms, most users are still using the WEP algorithm to configure their routers, we're not using and enjoying WEP because nowadays anyone can break the key of a wireless network with WEP setup. We will use WPA or WPA2 if your router supports.

2. Under "Wireless Security and Mod", select "Enable WPA Wireless Security (enhanced)" and enter a password at least 8 characters and maximum 63.
3. Click "Save Settings" and wait for the router restart.

• Go to My Network Places and click on your wireless network connection and connect the network you just created.
